The Maltese Gilded Clock

Since the turn of the 18th Century, the Maltese Gilded Clock, popularly known as tal-Lira, was a prized possession, usually reserved for the aristocracy and the nobility.  Nowadays, however, it is not as prohibitive to own such a prestigious clock; although one is still considered to be privileged to have such a clock decorating one’s home.

ARE YOU ONE OF THESE PROUD OWNERS ?

If not, Tony, an experienced and dedicated gilder, can help you to achieve your wish; and this could be your opportunity to own an arloġġ tal-Lira.

To give your clock that personal touch and make it more prestigious, you can also have your own family coat of arms embossed in gold leaf on your clock for a small extra charge.
